Majordomo Executus

Last updated: 7/12/26

Another Flamewaker fight, but with some actual mechanics.

Majordomo Executus

  • Aegis of Ragnaros: Protects Majordomo with a 30k HP shield that also grants melee thorns.
  • Damage Shield: Gives nearby allies a thorns aura that damages players who attack them.
  • Magic Reflection: Causes all nearby allies to reflect 50% of harmful spells for 10 sec.
  • Teleport: Teleports a random player into the fire pit in the center of the arena. This is a threat drop, so both tanks will need to be high on threat and ready to take over if the other tank gets teleported.

Flamewaker Elites

  • Fire Blast: Instantly deals ~1200 Fire damage to primary threat target.
  • Blast Wave: Instantly deals ~750 Fire damage to nearby players (10yds), and slows them by 50% for 8 sec.
  • Fireball Volley: Deals Fire damage to all nearby players (45yds). 2 second cast, can be interrupted.

Flamewaker Healers

  • Shadow Shock: Periodically deals ~700 Shadow damage to nearby players.
  • Dark Mending: Heals an ally for ~30k health. 2 second cast, can be interrupted.

In this fight, Majordomo does not need to be damaged. Killing all of the adds will end the fight. However, he does have mechanics, so he still needs to be tanked.

It’s probably most effective to stack all the adds together, slowly cleaving them down while focusing a kill order. Whether you prefer to kill Elites or Healers first is up to you, but ensure that you have sufficient kick/interrupt assignments for each of them to prevent Fireball Volley and Dark Mending from going off, respectively.

The main difference between this fight and Sulfuron is that the boss and adds are actually trying to hurt you. Players need to watch for Magic Reflection and Damage Shield to not kill themselves, and may need to get out of the stack if they’re taking too much damage from Blast Wave and Shadow Shock.

Heat Level Changes

Compared to Vanilla:

  • Instead of 4 of each add, there are only 3 of each.
  • All adds are immune to crowd control.
  • Flamewaker Elites additionally cast Fireball Volley.

In addition to needing 96 Fire Resist:

  • No additional changes.

In addition to needing 226 Fire Resist:

  • Majordomo gains a new ability, Raging Flare. He’ll pick a random player to place a fire bubble on; after 4 seconds, every player inside the bubble will take a total of 14250 damage, divided equally amongst those players. This is a simple soak mechanic. Not all players need to soak it - if you have a melee stack and a ranged stack, each one can soak their own bubble effectively.
