Sulfuron Harbinger

Another Flamewaker fight!

Here are the abilities to watch for:

Sulfuron Harbinger

  • Demoralizing Shout: Reduces the melee and ranged attack power of nearby enemies by 300 for 30 sec.
  • Inspire: Increase damage dealt by an ally by 25% and doubles its attack speed for 10 sec.
  • Hand of Ragnaros: Inflicts 300 to 400 Fire damage to nearby enemies, knocking them back and stunning them for 2 sec.

Flamewaker Priests

The only real difference in this fight compared to Vanilla is that the boss and adds have a shared health pool.

Thanks to that, this is a very simple fight - just stack the adds on top of the boss and cleave them all down. Have one tank hold the boss and an add, and the other hold the other adds.

You will need to assign players with kicks/interrupts to each of the adds and to the boss, interrupting Dark Mending and Inspire respectively. The cooldown between Dark Mending casts is a minimum of 10 seconds, so most classes should be able to easily handle them.

Honestly, as long as you can kick properly, this fight is an utter breeze. A melee cleaver’s wet dream!

Heat Level Changes

Compared to Vanilla:

  • The boss and adds have a shared health pool.
  • Dark Mending has a roughly 15 second cooldown between cast attempts.

In addition to needing 96 Fire Resist:

  • Dark Mending has a roughly 10 second cooldown between cast attempts.
  • The add’s Immolate ability is replaced by a permanent Immolation Aura which deals very little damage itself, but serves as a source of fire damage to check Fire Resist levels against, killing nearby players if they don’t pass the level check.

In addition to needing 226 Fire Resist:

  • Demoralizing Shout is replaced by Sundering Shout, which additionally reduces armor, and also stacks. You may wish to have one tank hold the boss and the other hold all adds further away, with DPS working down the adds, and tank swapping if stacks build too high.
