Brood Lord Mandokir

Mandokir spawns alongside his raptor, Ohgan. Ohgan will need to be offtanked separately. All DPS should focus Mandokir.

Here are the abilities to watch for:

Mandokir

  • Threatening Gaze: Mandokir will randomly target a player in the raid. This player must do absolutely nothing (stop attacking, healing, etc) until it’s over. If they do not, Mandokir will charge at them and seriously hurt them.
  • Mortal Strike: Debuffs the tank, reducing healing by 50% for 5 sec. This one cannot be dispelled.
  • Whirlwind: Damages nearby players. Melee should run out during this.
  • Charge: Mandokir randomly charges at players in the raid. When this occurs, it reduces threat on his current target, so tanks will need to taunt him to pick him back up.
  • Enrage: If Ohgan dies while Mandokir is still alive, he will become permanently enraged.

Ohgan

  • Sunder Armor: Reduces armor on the offtank, capping at -5000 armor. In SoD this isn’t really a big deal, and Mandokir is likely to die before you get close to full stacks anyway.
  • Thrash: Used very infrequently, but can occasionally burst the offtank.
